**Overview**: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook/Supervisor with extensive experience in authentic Indian cuisine to join our team. As a prominent establishment known for delivering exquisite Indian flavors, we require a dedicated individual who can maintain our high standards of quality and consistency while leading our kitchen team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and cook a variety of authentic Indian dishes with precision and attention to detail.
- Supervise kitchen staff, including assigning tasks, overseeing food preparation, and ensuring adherence to recipes and quality standards.
- Train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation guidelines.
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted kitchen operations.
- Monitor food costs and minimize waste by implementing efficient cooking practices and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and special dishes to enhance our offerings.
- Handle customer inquiries and special requests related to Indian cuisine, providing excellent service and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Assist in scheduling kitchen staff and managing labor costs effectively.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Line Cook or Chef specializing in Indian cuisine, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, and cooking techniques, including tandoor, curry, and biryani preparation.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise kitchen staff effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Food Handler's Certificate or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Culinary degree or relevant training from a recognized culinary institution is a plus.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.65-$22.82 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week

**Benefits**:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
