- Review contracts for QA/QC requirements and create gap analyses.
- Assist in managing an integrated file management system under 9001:2015.
- Write and edit procedures, work instructions, and forms for both QA and QC functions.
- Create swim-lane diagrams and flow charts using Microsoft Visio.
- Manage inspections and records for vessels under refit.
- Coordinate QC activities with representatives from the yard, vessel, class, and other authorities (e.g. Transport Canada). *Qualifications:*
- Technical writing and editing experience an asset.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel & Visio, an asset.
- Experience working in an industrial and/or marine setting an asset.
- Knowledge of industrial equipment & machinery an asset.
- Backgrounds in engineering, trades, and/or writing would be an asset.
- University or college education preferred.
- Training in ISO 9001:2015.
- Auditor training. *Competencies:*
