Health and Safety Trainer

CKX Training is a family owned and operated business that continues to grow and we are looking to add to our team. We offer over 20 safety training courses and travel across all of Ontario from Ottawa to Windsor.
Another aspect of the position will be travelling to various locations to perform first aid kit inspections and re-stocking as well as monitoring AED equipment. Performing respirator fit tests and 8 hour noise assessments will also be a function of this position and training will be provided and paid for. A strong understanding of Regulation 1101 and Respirators is a strong asset
**Requirements**:
- Post Secondary Education in OHS a strong asset
- Industrial/Construction background a must
- Experience teaching/presenting a strong asset
- A minimum of 2 years experience with the following equipment: Forklift (both counterbalance and reach truck a must)
- Minimum of 2 years in the OHS field
- Previous or current First Aid certification
- Understanding of the OHSA and other applicable safety regulations a must
- Proficient with Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge and prior experience with Overhead Crane would be an asset
