Sales Representative, Light Construction

This position offers a **hybrid **work arrangement.
The salary for this position is **$48,000 plus commission.**
**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
- Represent the Company in a professional and safe manner.
- Provide detailed equipment proposals to meet customer’s specific requirements.
- Evaluate used equipment to help provide a market-based value.
- Prepare monthly equipment sales forecasts.
- Assist other organization functions (engineering, manufacturing, quality control) to identify user and / or design problems.
- Provide customers with manuals for parts, equipment, and delivery.
- Report regularly and make recommendations as to how to improve products in order to see continued product improvements.
- Act as a main point of contact for customers and manufacturers.
- Assist in getting new customers set up with KomTrax and VHMS.
- Sell parts to equipment owners, contractors and fleet operators.
- Provide service and solutions regarding OE parts issues.
- Solve technical problems and generates customer solutions as a value-added supplier.
- Liaise with Shop operations and office personnel to ensure efficient and profitable operation of area of responsibility.
- Coordinate all service, warranty, billing, and equipment issues to the appropriate SMS manager.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in the heavy equipment business and familiarity with construction equipment.
- Ability to driver a company vehicle for extended periods of time.
- Excellent communication skills with both customers and OEMs.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and working knowledge of computer systems.
- Self motivated and proactive in keeping abreast of cutting-edge technology and best practices pertaining to the Company’s products and services.
