Green PI Inc is presently looking for its client to provide a UX/UI Expert with a passion for design and a clear understanding of how to translate UX into world class web and mobile app experiences. The UX/UI Expert will be supporting a major transition for the client's system and digital platforms. This is a contract opportunity for 12 months from September 2024 - September 2025, with the possibility of extension for up to another 12 months.

Job Responsibilities:

- Support the design and development of the website, B2B website, e-ticket integration, and enhancement of the client's app.
- Develop and maintain product design wireframes, interaction design, visual design and prototyping to produce innovative web and mobile experiences.
- Leverage research from research and usability testing to identify and resolve customer pain points.
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities and strategies enhance user experience and customer satisfaction on digital channels.
- Ensure all digital platforms are designed to be customer-centric, scalable, secure, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Communicate designs, interaction models and end-to-end experiences to developers and cross-functional teams; present designs and proposals to key stakeholders and management.
- Keeping current with industry trends and transit partner products, global trends and advancements in digital technology.
- Knowledge of digital accessibility standards and practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Media Arts, Human Computer Interaction, Digital Media, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in web/app design and development, with a focus in financial institution, public sector or transit industries.
- In-depth knowledge of global digital trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Particularly in financial or transit industry.
- Proven track record of working on global digital platforms and implementing best practices from around the world.
- A strong ability to analyze data, user feedback, and market trends to inform design decisions.
- Experience leading large-scale digital projects from conception to implementation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to design user-centric digital platforms that significantly improve customer satisfaction and usability.
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively to solve complex problems and enhance digital experiences.
- Advanced proficiency in design tools (Sketch, Figma, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or like);
- Knowledge of development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc.);
- Experience with mobile app design (iOS, Android);
- Knowledge of backend systems and integration (APIs, databases);
- Familiarity with digital security standards and practices;
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and frameworks
- Strategic thinker with a vision for the future of digital platforms.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
- Adaptable and open to new ideas and technologies.
- Proactive problem solver with a can-do attitude.
- Team player who can collaborate effectively across departments.

Job Location: 20 Bay Street, Toronto, ON M5J 2W3

Work Remotely: Hybrid with the ability to come into the office twice a week

Contract length: Upon signing contract.

12 months with the possibility of extension for up to another 12 months.

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday
