Availability for Day Shift
**Purpose and Scope**
Mould Maintenance personnel maintain and/or repair tools to ensure they are available to meet production requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Change, maintain, and repair mould inserts as needed.
- Ability to trouble shoot micro switches and hot runner manifolds
- Knowledge of hot runner controllers and manifolds
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders for repair and or replacement
- Ability to work in a team environment with mínimal supervision
- Able to transfer clear information to the ToolroomManager through white boards
- Maintain a clean working environment and work in a safe manner.
- Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
- Operating Fork Lifts and Over Head cranes using slings eyebolts and chains
- Maintain work records using “IQMS” and log hours on jobs for lessons learned.
**Organization Relationships**
The Mouldmaker reports directly to the Tooling Manager
**Skills and Knowledge**
- Minimum Grade 12 Diploma
- 5 years experience in a related industrial environment
- Strong attention to details with a technical background
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Basic math skills
- Must have good English communication skills both written and oral
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping of mould repair/servicing logs
- 431A Moldmaker certification
