**We are currently seeking an energetic, patient focused **Cleanroom Training Specialist** to join us in Mississauga on a 14-month contract.**
- This position will support two Calea Ontario sites, Mississauga & Hamilton. Travel to the Hamilton site is required on occasion, approximately two times per month (flexibility required). Additional support of Western Canada sites is also required, virtually._

Under the supervision of the Sr. Manager, Pharmacy Training and New Technologies, and the Cleanroom Operations Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for delivering Theoretical and Practical training and assessment to Cleanroom and Staging technicians, as well as cleanroom cleaners. In addition, the incumbent will be accountable for tracking and maintaining training for all Calea Cleanroom, staging and cleaning staff to ensure all production and quality goals are met. The incumbent will also be accountable for ensuring that all staff maintains compliance to NAPRA guidelines and Calea’s Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions

The following nature and scope of work is the following but not limited to:
The Cleanroom Trainer, Calea Compounding, will work closely with the Cleanroom Operations Manager and must have a sound knowledge of pharmacy practices, pharmaceutical technology as well as having the skills and knowledge required for aseptic compounding. The incumbent must also demonstrate high integrity and good judgment to ensure a high level of compliance are met. The Cleanroom Trainer, Calea Compounding must have the flexibility to assist in production activities such as calibration, validation, compounding, staging, environmental monitoring, labeling and packing.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Responsible for maintaining a better than average knowledge of Calea Work Instructions
- Promote a high performance and quality culture throughout training programs and execution stages
- Act as the primary trainer for Cleanroom, Staging and cleaning staff
- Attend corporate and regulatory audits when required
- Assist with the development of training material when required
- Able to effectively deliver theoretical training to meet adult learning skills
- Ability to deliver and grade all theoretical assessments
- Ability to deliver hands on training through proper demonstration, and ability to provide correction where necessary during training sessions
- Assist with creation of training videos when required
- Deliver the theoretical and practical training for Ontario sites
- Virtually deliver theoretical training for western sites
- Track and maintain training and assessment records
- Assist Cleanroom Team Leads with the performing gowning and media fill qualification of new staff
- Perform aseptic assessments when required
- Work in the cleanroom minimum once per month to ensure qualification and knowledge of processes are maintained
- Maintain Media Fill Units and gowning qualification

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacy
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Sterile compounding experience
- In-depth understanding of aseptic technique using laminar flow hoods
- Ability to travel to Ontario sites (Hamilton and Mississauga)
- Flexible to work various shift through staff training period
- Strong verbal and communication skills with exceptional interper
