**Your Opportunity**:
The primary responsibilities of this position include:

- Safe operation of grass cutting machinery including trimmers, blowers, push mowers
- Assist with landscaping tasks such as weeding, mulching, seeding, planting, watering
- Move supplies, picnic tables and other equipment as directed in the designated area
- Collect, pick up, and transport garbage and recyclable material for disposal/processing
- Assist with other maintenance related tasks as directed
- Work in accordance with the Conservation Halton’s Safety Policies & Procedures and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other related manuals.
- Other duties as assigned

**Your Qualifications**:

- Available to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week (including evenings and weekends)
- Previous experience using grass cutting equipment, planting or landscaping is an asset
- Able to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds, stand, and walk for long periods of time
- Able to wear personal protective equipment deemed necessary to perform this job safely (gloves, ear protection, safety glasses, etc.)
- Able to travel to a site not serviced by public transportation
- A valid Ontario Drivers Licence, minimum Class “G2”, with a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract is required. _*Abstract completed by Conservation Halton_.
