**The impact you'll have**:
The Corporate Strategy team at Softchoice is a highly regarded, high impact team that partners with senior executives on a range of topics, including growth strategy, business / category strategy, competitive strategy and disruption in the marketplace. The team reports has direct access to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT). In the last year, the team designed a new strategic planning process, developed Softchoice’s long-term strategy and collaborated with business leaders to align their strategy to the corporate strategy. The team also works cross-functionally to develop strategy and execute on transformational programs already in place.
**What you'll do**:
- Define and launch key strategic initiatives with proven results
- Take analytical-based approach to problem solving by conducting analyses and then synthesizing findings into actionable recommendations
- Drive initiatives through to execution while leading cross-functional collaboration and consensus building
- Support the annual planning process and other investor relations requests
- Own our research subscriptions and develop partnerships with analysts
- Bring thought leadership and current best practices from the market
- Prepare and present structured material to senior-level executives
- Manage, lead, and inspire high-performing teams
**What you'll bring to the table**:
- Post-Secondary Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field in a quantitative discipline. MBA strongly preferred
- 5+ years of work experience which includes experience at a top-tier management consulting firm
- Interest in Technology industry or industry experience in high tech strategy an asset
- Skilled at logical structuring and presenting data in story format
- Direct people management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to senior-level executives
- Passionate about the technology industry
- Possess superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Highly structured but comfortable with ambiguity and dynamic environments
- Intellectually curious and loves to teach, coach and mentor
- Energized by engaging and influencing others
- Detail oriented with a focus on results and bias for action
- Not afraid to get your hands dirty
