**The Role**

**Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)**
- _Invoice Processing_:_ Generate and distribute invoices to clients based on services rendered or products sold.
- _Record Keeping:_ Maintain accurate records of all accounts receivable transactions including invoices, receipts, and cash receipts.
- _Payment Tracking_:_ Monitor incoming payments and ensure they are received on time. Record these payments and update customer accounts accordingly.
- _Credit Control:_ Assess and review the credit status of groups to manage credit limits and minimize bad debts.
- _Guest Communication_:_ Handle group inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account statuses. Resolve any issues or discrepancies in billing.
- _Reconciliation:_Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- _Reporting:_ Prepare regular reports detailing accounts receivable status, aging summaries, and any past due accounts.
- _Collections:_ Manage the collection process for overdue accounts, which may involve sending reminders, making phone calls, and negotiating payment plans.
- _Compliance:_Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations in the processing of receivables.
- _Collaboration:_Work closely with the sales team to implement terms of sale and manage credit exposure. Also, liaise with the accounting team for accurate financial reporting.

**Education and Experience**
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel required
- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
- Experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or business administration (preference given to hospitality experience)
- Excellent communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Able to work under pressure and maintain a positive work environment
- Excellent telephone etiquette

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
