**Position Overview**:
We are building a pool of skilled Journeyman and Apprentice **Boilermakers** (employees & DSPs) for **multiple projects beginning in early 2025**. In addition to field responsibilities, this role could include opportunities to contribute to the development of Canoco’s Boilermaker training program, ensuring continued growth and safety excellence. **Qualifications & Education**:
- Journeyman Certificate or active Apprenticeship in Boilermaking
- Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Required certifications: H2S Alive, CSTS or CSO, Fall Protection, Confined Space, WHMIS 2015
- Preferred certifications: Elevated Work Platform (EWP) and First Aid
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- Successful completion of Pre-Access Drug & Alcohol testing
**Skills, Attributes, and Responsibilities**:
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints, with expertise in essential Boilermaker tasks including blinding/deblinding equipment, pulling and installing exchanger bundles, rigging, hoisting, and hydro testing.
- Perform internal vessel work, maintaining full compliance with industry safety standards, and ensure adherence to Canoco’s safety protocols and client-specific requirements.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in complex decision-making situations, with effective communication and a commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Take initiative in contributing to the development and implementation of a training program for Boilermaker roles, with ongoing opportunities to participate in and support additional training initiatives.
