**Medical Science Liaison - New Team Build - Oncology**

IQVIA’s international medical affairs team is looking for 14 experienced MSLs (Medical Scientific Liaison) to join an exciting new global team build on behalf of an oncology-focused US based biotech company.

This position - **covering Canada - **is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing organisation that strives to accelerate the discovery, development, and commercialization of new medicines for difficult-to-treat cancers, as they expand into the ex-US market.
- Highly motivated, experienced pharma industry MSL with demonstrable success
- Deep oncology therapy area knowledge essential
- Experience of the clinical trials setting is highly desirable
- Prior experience of regulatory affairs, or an in depth understanding of regulatory processes and environment in Canada would be beneficial
- Outstanding communication skills.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Provide field-based medical support to the company’s clinical research programs
- Deliver credible presentations on scientific matters in the disease area of responsibility and about the company pipeline to investigators in company-sponsored interventional research
- Engage with clinical trial site investigators and staff to understand enrolment/screening barriers from a medical perspective, and work with the site and client to find potential medical solutions with the aim of supporting clinical trial enrolment
- Provide support to company clinical development and operations teams through site recommendations, initiation visits, facilitation of communication, and accrual support activities
- In an accurate, fair and balanced manner, exchange scientific information with external parties
- Report field intelligence to IQVIA/Client including competitive information, perspectives about compounds, and the treatment landscape
- Establish and maintain a close working relationship with site management & monitoring staff and partner in facilitating the initiation and conduct of prioritized company clinical trials.

- Scientific degree preferable - ideally PhD, PharmD, MD
- French language skills (in addition to English) would be beneficial, but not essential
- Eligibility to work full-time in Canada
- Ideally located close to an international airport
- Full driving license.

Pay: $100,000.00-$130,000.00 per year
