Property Maintenance

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
Perform tasks under multiple trade functions including: painting, general carpentry, drywall work, floor installations and repairs, tile installations and repairs, and general repairs.
Produce quality work when completing daily work orders at a productive and efficient pace.
Provide trades access to occupied units, following appropriate protocol, in order to complete service work.
Ensure that during the service appointment: all trade work completed is to the Branthaven standard, homeowner items are protected, security is maintained, and unit is left clean and tidy.
Respond and resolve homeowner emergency calls such as plumbing leaks, heat loss, AC failures etc.
Update lot files using a tablet with accurate, detailed notes post all deficiency repairs and trade service. Provide daily updates to coordinators and supervisor.
Perform routine and scheduled preventative maintenance.
Ensure suites are ready for QA, PDI, Key Release.
Prepare materials required to complete service work, providing a list of required materials and supplies to direct supervisor on weekly basis.
Meet weekly with Homeowner Relations Manager, to review Aging Reports, and any Construction and/or Warranty related concerns.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service when interacting with homeowners, providing accurate answers, following up on commitments, and creating a positive experience during every interaction.
Participate in Branthaven Homeowner Events.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
3+ years of experience in new home construction as a Service Technician or Handyperson
A strong understanding of TARION Construction Guidelines & Warranty Program
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, comfortable in the use of technology - smartphones, tablets or computers to record, review and communicate information related to deficiency lists.NewStar and/or Builderlynx software knowledge a plus but not required.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment while managing expectations and providing a first class customer care experience. Proven capabilities in multi-tasking, problem solving and prioritizing workloads.
Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of constituents both in verbal and written manner.
Must have own vehicle and a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
