Our Water and Environment Team at ISL specializes in expert environmental assessments, project permitting, construction monitoring, and support for diverse municipal, transportation, structural, and land development projects within our local communities. A Little About You

**Your cover letter must demonstrate**:

- Your ability to work both autonomously and as a vital member of our multi-disciplinary teams.
- How you prioritize work - we are a flexible work environment that changes direction at full speed
- How you remain organized and can work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

**Your resume should show us**:

- A B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in environmental science, biology, or a related field with a keen interest in pursuing a career in the field.
- A valid Class 5 Driver's License is required.
- New graduate to three years of experience, with a focus on environmental sciences or related fields.
- Eligibility for in-training registration with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to quality.
- A self-starter and team player with the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.

**Bonus points for**:

- Experience with vegetation, wetlands, soils assessments, and reporting
- Experience in consulting
- Knowledge of environmental legislation and regulations
- Familiarity with ArcGIS
