Pay Rate: $15.50/hour + benefits

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

- Manual assembly of Electronic components including complex and high density projects according to assembly books, custom specifications and quality standards
- Perform Hand Soldering, Inspection and Rework of all Thru-hole, SMT, Mixed assemblies and custom parts as per Engineering specifications and IPC workmanship standards
- Aid in Mechanical Assembly as required
- Component preparation, placement or installation
- Final Assembly as required
- Participate in training and certification programs to ensure job knowledge and skills set requirements are updated regularly
- Participate in all team level quality improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Post-secondary technical education (2 year Diploma or equivalent experience)
- Experienced in fabrication of Printed Circuit Board assemblies
- Knowledge of electronic components
- Previous experience working on Surface Mount Technology/Thru-Hole or Mix Tech assemblies
- Familiarity with Wave Soldering Technology
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Basic soldering and quality inspection skills with reference to IPC standards
- Knowledge of ISO 9000 Quality standards.
- Manual Dexterity
- Familiarity with RETMA color coding of Through Hole Auto Inserted parts.
- Ability to read and understand assembly documentation
- Ability to hand solder, desolder and identify solder bridging
- Ability to rework printed circuit assemblies and replacing components
- Solid understanding in IPC or ANSI-J technical standards
- A positive team attitude
- Team oriented and capable of effectively coordinating manufacturing activities as per Production schedules
