Under the direction and support of the Executive Chef, a typical day in this role may look like:

- Effectively coordinate and execute pre-designated food preparation and maintain consistent standards of food quality and customer satisfaction in Restaurant and Banquet Facilities.
- Ensure that menu item are produced to the specifications of the recipes provided.
- Create and maintain appropriate kitchen organization and cleanliness.
- Support a safe working environment by ensuring all staff are working in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Ensure appropriate safe food handling procedures are in place and followed at all times.
- Maximize productivity without compromising guest satisfaction. - Assist in seasonal restaurant, lounge and banquet menu development and creation of weekly specials.
- Ensure open communication and cooperation between food and beverage outlets and the kitchen

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- Red Seal certification with a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
- Basic Culinary Training and Valid Food Safe Certification required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Team player who is able to work independently and effectively as required.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance.
- Flexible schedule.
