**Work Schedule**: Weekdays and Weekends, Days and Evening Shifts

**Role and Responsibilities**:
Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Operator Helper participates in the proper operating of the Hyppo sealer and Hayssen (Curd room) or any other machines for our various formats of products. The person in place helps coordinating the packaging process while respecting all health and safety, food safety, quality and production rules and regulations in place.

**Experiences and Training**:

- Help operating and feeding the Hyppo sealer and Hayssen production machine and equipment: such as labeling, feeding the machine with the necessary products or any other task related to the Cheese Curds Room.
- Help in the coordination of the entire packaging process according to the production plan.
- Help performing format changeovers.
- Help performing basic equipment maintenance.
- Wash, sanitize and perform equipment maintenance.
- Complete all production and packaging reports.
- Perform all tasks and actions safety and according to quality standards (HACCP).

**Required qualifications and competencies**:

- Completion of High School diploma or a combination of equivalent training and work considered equivalent.
- Experience in a similar position in a structured manufacturing environment (asset).
- Work schedule as required by the production (day, evening, and weekend).
- Excellent physical aptitude to lift weights exceeding 20 kg repetitively for the duration of your shift.
- Excellent physical aptitude to perform repetitive movements, bending, being in continuous movement for the duration of your shift work.
- Demonstrate and have a superior sense of health and safety compliance at work as well as with the sanitation practices in place.
- Be able to manipulate chemical products.
- Reliability/Dependability: Is punctual and meets work attendance according to weekly and monthly production schedule. Available for work on a consistent and timely basis with infrequent unplanned absences. Willing to accept accountability for outcomes and team objectives.
- Teamwork: contributes to the success and growth of the company by participating in the development of the team through sharing information, his knowledge and expertise, and supporting everyone involved in facing challenges and changes at hand. Effective team builder with demonstrated abilities, excellent team player.
- Open minded: open to changes and other opinions and demonstrates a generally positive attitude.
- Skills in planning and organizing: Plans and organizes a task, from beginning to end, while maintaining focus on objectives and results.
