We're looking for a HRIS specialist role **(12 months contract) **with a focus on Workday core, advance Compensation and Benefits module. The person in this role will work as a business analyst meeting with stakeholders, identify improvements and providing technical solutions in Workday. In addition, this role is responsible for configuring, testing, and deploying new features to support new Compensation programs and yearly cycles. This person will also be accountable for configuring the Benefits configuration.

**What you'll be responsible for**:

- Own the maintenance of the Core, Advanced Compensation and Benefits module in Workday
- Work with stakeholders to identify enhancement opportunities in the configuration and issue resolution
- Research and propose solutions to support new Compensation programs for Lightspeed
- Be the main point of contact for the compensation team to scale a recently implemented Workday solution
- Support the maintenance of a global job catalogue and ensure its integrity
- Accountable for configuring the Year-end compensation cycle and continuously improve the solution
- Responsible for configuring Benefits module and support with Open enrolment periods
- Configure and maintain compensation elements at a global scale (Allowance plans, compensation package, job profiles, etc.)
- Responsible for testing compensation related Workday releases

- Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organizational objectives even if this means doing things that aren't strictly within the scope of your role
- Communicating and sharing lessons learned with wider team

**What you'll bring to the team**:

- 3+ years of compensation/total rewards experience as a Workday configuration administrator
- Experience supporting yearly Compensation cycles through requirements gathering, go live and closing of the cycle
- Knowledgeable on Benefits processes primarily in North America
- Experience with security configuration in Workday
- Deep knowledge configuring custom reports and handling large data sets
- Prior experience working with Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) or other large data HRIS import functionality
- Experience setting up compensation plans and rolling them out to the organization
- Knowledge of HR operations and continuous process improvement initiatives
- Experience maintaining data integrity across enterprise HR systems and conducting audits
- 1+ years of Project Management Experience
- Advanced knowledge in Excel

**Even better if you have, but not necessary**:

- Background working as a HR Business Analyst is an asset
- HR systems implementation experience is an asset
