Network Analyst

3C Information Solutions Inc. is looking for a Network Analyst to join our dynamic team.
**Position Summary**
The Network Analyst will test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems or a segment of a network system, and perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with mínimal interruption.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Analyze, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Design, implement, and manage network solutions to meet organizational needs.
- Configure and define parameters for installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), routers, switches, firewalls, controllers, wireless, SD-WAN, PTP, PMP radio system or related networking equipment.
- Proactively identify and report all current and potential capacity, routing, traffic management, and cybersecurity issues, along with proposed solutions and a remediation timeline and plan to ensure optimal network performance.
- Organizing and scheduling network maintenance per 3CIS's internal scheduling policies for service affecting work, ensuring customers and all internal stakeholders are properly notified and aware of potential outage times and durations in advance.
- Remotely troubleshoot and repair of all networks related issues in collaboration with the Network Operations Centre and Field Teams.
- Ensure network/cyber security by implementing and managing firewalls, VPNs, IDS, IPS, EDR and other security measures.
- Documentation and upkeep of all network devices, routing tables, login credentials (usernames, and passwords for all network devices, software, etc.)
- Configure, maintain, and support internal and external Windows network environment, Office 365, Active Directory, Azure AD, SharePoint in a hybrid environment.
- Assistance with on-premises server infrastructure, VMware, Hyper-V, Bare Metal, server backups, server patching.
- Assistance with the development, documentation, and enforcement of network policies and procedures.
- Creation and dissemination of regular network health and performance reports to 3CIS's management team.
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software procurement, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Other duties as required.
**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience as a network analyst or similar.
- Post-secondary education/experience in Computer Science, Network Administration, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of FortiGate firewalls, Cisco networks and Office 365
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or ITIL4 are a plus.
- Experience with VMware virtualization technologies.
