Role Overview
Responsibilities
- Develop and improve optimization algorithms to solve complex VRP problems and their variants, including last-mile challenges
- Implement and test mathematical models for supply chain optimization
- Analyze large logistics datasets and extract relevant insights
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate optimization solutions into our offerings
- Participate in scientific monitoring of the latest advancements in operations research and propose innovative ideas
Qualifications
- Master's or ongoing PhD in Operations Research, Applied Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Mastery of fundamental concepts in operations research and mathematical optimization
- Strong programming skills, especially in Python, C++, or Java
- Deep knowledge of Vehicle Routing Problems (VRP) and their variants, particularly in the last-mile context
- Expertise in heuristic and metaheuristic methods for solving complex optimization problems
- Ability to work in a team and effectively communicate technical concepts
