**Position Summary**:

- The Manager of Programs, Development, and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem will be a dynamic leader in the African Canadian Civic Engagement Council (ACCEC). This role combines overseeing and managing all program areas with the specialized responsibility of directing the ANZA Entrepreneurship Ecosystem. This individual will ensure the effective implementation and alignment of all programs with the organization's goals, alongside pioneering entrepreneurship initiatives for African-descent communities in Canada.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Program and Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Management**:

- Lead the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of all ACCEC program areas, including Youth Development, Gender-Centred Support, Access to Justice, Civic Engagement, Research, and the ANZA Entrepreneurship Ecosystem.
- Ensure seamless execution of program and ecosystem activities, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee the assessment, intake, coaching, advisory support, and business development of youth entrepreneurs, particularly focusing on at-risk and high-risk youth.
- **Program and Ecosystem Development**:

- Collaborate with the executive team to identify new program opportunities, strategies, and entrepreneurship initiatives aligned with ACCEC's mission and goals.
- Research and analyze community needs and emerging trends to design innovative programs and entrepreneurial opportunities addressing challenges faced by African-descent communities.
- **Stakeholder Engagement**:

- Build and maintain partnerships with community organizations, government agencies, and stakeholders to enhance program and ecosystem effectiveness.
- Collaborate with external partners to identify resources, funding opportunities, and strategic alliances to support program growth and sustainability.
- **Performance Monitoring and Reporting**:

- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks for all initiatives and the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
- Compile and analyze data to inform decisions, track impact, and highlight areas for improvement.
- **Team Leadership**:

- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment of goals among team members.
- **Budget Oversight**:

- Collaborate with the Finance Manager to develop and manage budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and optimal resource allocation.
- **Additional Responsibilities**:

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in program management, with significant exposure to entrepreneurship or business development initiatives.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating community-based programs and entrepreneurial ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Alberta’s Black community or a demonstrated willingness to engage deeply with it.
- Strong understanding of issues affecting African-descent communities in Canada.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build partnerships.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, digital marketing, and Microsoft Project or similar tools.
- PMP Certification or equivalent is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated commitment to social justice, equity, and community empowerment.
