Role Overview

The Government of Alberta is seeking a highly skilled Program Development Lead to join our team. This role will lead multiple large and complex program development and implementation projects, focusing on supporting Alberta's economic growth and future skill development needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-functional project teams to discuss issues, gain consensus, and maintain momentum.
  • Manage and facilitate large and complex projects, including grants, through all phases.
  • Draft project management documents to record and communicate activities and progress.
  • Undertake day-to-day tasks associated with program operations, including workflow, administration, and reporting.
  • Develop briefing materials, presentations, and speeches to support decision-making.
  • Provide input, analysis, and recommendations to the Manager and Director on policy and operational programs.
