**ROLE SUMMARY**:
Reporting to the Senior Development Manager for Indigenous Programs, the Development Coordinator is a
supporting role to the Canadian Corporate Fundraising portfolio and stewardship activities for Indigenous
Programs and secondly supporting the coordination and internal communications on all matters pertaining to

corporate grant management for Indigenous Programs.

You will be responsible for stewarding, renewing and growing a portfolio of 10-15 corporate donors totalling
$400k+; reporting on impact, sharing meaningful engagement opportunities and inspiring corporate donors who
support Indigenous Programs within $5k-$50k to strengthen their support. Activities include renewing the donor
portfolio, prospecting for new corporate supporters, grant and proposal writing, planning, executing and
evaluating the engagement and stewardship for this portfolio in line with the donor’s service model with
oversight from the Senior Manager. Additionally, you will support the Senior Manager with coordination
activities for the Indigenous Programs Development Committee, and planning activities of Indigenous
engagements for the corporate donor portfolio.

Additionally, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all external facing asks to the Indigenous
Programs team from the Canada National Office (CNO) and leading the coordination of rolling out a new
Learning Management System reconciliation module to be used by corporate and individual donors.

Lastly, you will be responsible for all data entry and data integrity for Indigenous Programs corporate donor in
Microsoft Dynamics. Responsibilities include maintaining records for all prospects, donors and pledges, running
reports, office administration, sending out marketing packages and, supporting other stewardship and
fundraising activities within the development team.

You may be required to travel on occasion within Canada to partner communities and support on events as
needed.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:
**#1: Fundraising and Stewardship $5K - $50K (60% of Time)**:

- Stewards and renews a $400k portfolio of 15-20 corporate donors supporting Indigenous Program

team to gather the correct information for renewals and proposals
- Coordinates and delivers all reporting requirements for donor portfolio
- Provides high-level donor stewardship in a timely manner including responding to day-to-day donor
- Supports the Senior Manager in coordinating and planning all Indigenous Program donor engagement

activities and Indigenous Development Committee Fundraising administration
- Coordination of meetings, note taking, scheduling, and ensuring deadlines and next steps are

communicated
- Provides prospect research support for funders interested in supporting Indigenous youth programs
- Provides support around research for thought leadership opportunities in the Canadian
