Coffee Roaster

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team.

Patera Group is a coffee roasting company that not only roasts a selection of coffee blends but offers our customers a full coffee service, including coffee equipment, service, training, consulting and allied products. We are looking for an individual to assist with the daily roasting and packaging as required based on the roasting schedule.

Job description:

- Ensuring green coffee inventory is organized and follows the requirements for Fair Trade and Organic certifications
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all packaging/roasting stations and equipment
- Roasting batches of coffee to a set profile
- Mixing and blending coffee to set recipes
- Maintaining logs and records for preventative maintenance, traceability, and certification purposes
- Completing daily/monthly preventative maintenance
- Operate weigh and fill machines to pack coffee in multiple formats
- Package the roasted coffee in required formats
- Stock and Palletize finished cases to prepare for shipping

Working Conditions:

- Work standing up for 8 hour shifts and keep pace in a fast-moving environment
- Lift 20 lbs. from the ground unassisted and carry as required
- Lift and pour a full bin of roasted coffee with assistance
- Operate a pallet jack and physically push/pull large skids of coffee
- Ear protection is provided, must be able to work in a loud environment
- It is required that all team members wear, hair/beard nets, gloves etc. while on the production floor.
