**About Our Opportunity**:
Under the general direction of the Regional Director or other designated official, this position is responsible for a broad range of administrative, financial, organizational and secretarial support to various Department staff. Maintains and updates several Departmental/Government databases, prepares and verifies invoices and credit card purchases in SAP, Center Suite and ARI in accordance with Procurement Guidelines and Policies and Procedures, and reconciles revenue. This position assists the Regional Director with the financial planning process to ensure that accurate and timely budget forecasts are prepared to produce required reports and insures appropriate control of petty cash funds. The incumbent will help in preparing, organizing and maintaining an electronic and manual file management system as well as act as Commissioner of Oaths in accordance with the Notaries and Commissioners Act for Administering Oaths. They respond to inbound calls and provide general assistance to client inquiries according to management direction and policies. This position assists in the administration of the Provincial Park Registration / Reservation System and responds to public Provincial Park inquiries as well as creates, enhances and maintains staff cooperation and teamwork with other staff. Other duties could be assigned as per operational requirements.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
The following are required for the position:

- Experience processing and tracking purchases, revenue from counter sales, monthly budget reconciliation.
- Experience coordinating duties such as calendar management, data entry, and composing and editing correspondence.
- Must be a team player with the ability to work with mínimal supervision, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Have the ability to work within deadlines with accuracy. and to exercise sound judgement and adhere to priorities
- Ability to deal with sensitive information and complete all duties with a high degree of confidentiality.
- Must have valid Nova Scotia driver’s license or equivalent.

The following would be considered assets:

- A working knowledge of the Corporate Financial Management System (SAP), Automotive Resources International (ARI) and Pathways.
- Familiarity with the many Department/Government programs, regulations, statutes and procedures related to financial processes.
- Experience in license sales and budget forecasting.
- Experience providing quality front end customer service in a fast paced and demanding environment.

**Salary Range**: $1,868.53 - $2,066.70 Bi-Weekly
