The **Thirsty Lion Tavern** in **West. St Paul** is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the team As the Assistant Manager you play a crucial role in the efficient day-to-day operation of our establishment. You are responsible for overseeing staff, along with supporting and assisting the pub manager. This position requires a strong understanding of the hospitality industry, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to multitask and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Assist the manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth functioning of the business
- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their inquiries and concerns
- Supervise and train staff members to ensure they are knowledgeable and provide exceptional service
- Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to increase sales and achieve targets
- Assist in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise
- Collaborate with the manager to develop marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and training new employees
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and maintaining records

Requirments:

- Previous experience in a sales or supervisory role is preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

**Transit is not be available for this location. *Must have vehicle**
