**About the Role**

As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) at Birch Medical, you will play a pivotal role in reshaping the landscape of healthcare. We are actively seeking Full-time, Part-time and Casual Nurse Practitioners to strengthen our ranks and contribute to our vision. This telehealth position allows you to work from the comfort and safety of your home, ensuring both convenience and security.

**What You’ll Do**

The Nurse Practitioner will play a critical role in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care and contribute to improving healthcare outcomes and access to quality healthcare services. To be successful in this role you will require strong clinical skills, an understanding of MRI, excellent communication and patient education abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Educate patients on their MRI scan results, diagnoses, and treatment plans. Provide guidance on lifestyle modifications, self-care, and preventive measures. Offer emotional support, address patient concerns, and promote overall well-being.

**Documentation and Record Keeping**
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR) of patient assessments, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to patient documentation and confidentiality.

**Collaboration and Communication**
- Collaborate effectively with the radiology team, including radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
- Collaborate with the clinical teams on quality improvement initiatives

**Requirements**:

- Must have a valid BC NP License.
- Minimum one year of NP experience.
- Preferably a background in Primary Care, Radiology and/or Oncology
