Are you an experienced professional with a knack for optimizing software systems and a passion for strategic data management? Join us as our new **Business Systems Manager & Analyst**

Reporting to the Director of Administration & Operations, this position serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the non-credit student registration software at the Centre for Continuing Education (CCE). The individual is responsible for identifying and assessing business system needs, developing change strategies, sharing strategic insights drawn from system data, and managing data administration.

**What You’ll Do**:
**Business Management**:

- Provide primary end-user support and core system configuration and maintenance for non-credit systems.
- Lead the implementation of value-driven solutions for CCE and other units using the software.
- Formulate and communicate the business vision for system implementation, mapping out requirements and project scope.
- Work with project stakeholders to validate requirements and serve as a resource to testing and user support teams. on expected system behavior.
- Assist in writing user acceptance test (UAT) cases and acts as a liaison during UAT.
- Develop and shares strategic insights with CCE leadership, drawing from analysis of system data.

**Continuous Improvement and New Technology Initiatives**:

- Collaborate with the software provider to understand existing and new features, identifying potential modifications to improve system efficiency and performance.
- Liaise with CCE’s marketing team to discuss the business impacts of registration system data.
- Manage the timely delivery of solutions to achieve business objectives through defined project management processes.
- Manage products, enhancements, technologies and practices, participating in business plan reviews to ensure strategic alignment.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in solution planning and delivery, including automation, deployment, and scaling of solutions.

**Service Delivery**:

- Onboard new clients, training them on responsibilities, policies, and tools, and provide ongoing training to existing users.
- Ensure successful delivery of services (on time, on budget, on quality, on scope) and resolve issues by coordinating multiple teams.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, and standardize services through templates, forms, and cheat sheets.
- Provide technology and workflow process consultation to Superusers.
- Assist in planning and maintaining key business systems in alignment with organizational priorities, and resource availability.

**Data Management & Administration**:

- Define, develop, and maintain the framework and documentation of business rules, processes, and procedures for the software.
- Lead Supervisors in promoting effective data management and systems change management practices, aligning institutional Data Governance Committee guidelines.
- Manage consulting services vendors contributing to system and data management strategies.
- Validate business rules and processes against current requirements, adapt processes to the system capabilities, and communicate to Superusers.
- Ensure information accessibility and data integrity by developing and enforcing data administration and user standards.
- Generate custom reports, presenting data clearly and understandably.
