**Your opportunity**:
Under supervision of the Work Integrated Learning (WIL) Team Lead, the incumbent works in close collaboration with academic units and individual faculty members on work integrated learning experiences within academic programs, develops and fosters relations with external partners who are able to provide high-quality WIL experiences for University of Toronto Scarborough students, focusing primarily on developing academically relevant, non-co-op, community-based integrated learning experience opportunities.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Building and strengthening relationships with stakeholders and partners of strategic importance
- Developing and implementing targeted outreach initiatives that support communication strategies
- Implementing plans that support the development of work-integrated learning opportunities for students
- Consulting with instructors, administrators and student groups on the development of tailored programming needs
- Liaising with colleagues to encourage the use of best practices and consistent programming
- Providing detailed information to hosts on how to lead appropriate learning opportunities for students
**Essential Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area of study or acceptable combination of equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years' of recent and related experience in a relationship building role working with community organizations, preferably working within post-secondary environment.
- Experience in a relationship management or external relations role which includes a track record of success in building and maintaining relevant relationships, preferably in a University setting.
- Experience should include market research and analysis, a track record of success in building and maintaining relationships.
- Knowledge of service-learning and community engagement practices and demonstrated commitment to cultivating social responsibility, cultural awareness and an ethic of civic engagement.
- Strong computer skills and working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and relational databases.
- Demonstrated ability to develop collaborative partnerships between and among diverse groups of people in multicultural environments.
- Proven ability to organize and handle a variety of projects, deadlines and schedules simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong emphasis on influencing skills.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to speak to and lead targeted group presentations.
- Tact, discretion and sensitivity to confidential matters.

**Assets (Nonessential)**:
- Familiarity with Provincial mandate related to experiential learning.
