**Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Public Relations Strategy**:

- Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies that align with the organization's goals and mission.
- Monitor media trends and proactively seek opportunities to enhance the organization’s visibility.
- **Media Relations**:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional media outlets.
- Draft and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, coordinating interviews, and providing information as needed.
- Track and analyze media coverage to assess the effectiveness of PR efforts.
- **Promotion & Marketing**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns for new services, events, and community initiatives.
- Develop content for social media platforms, newsletters, and the organization’s website to support marketing and PR objectives.
- Assist in the creation of marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, and digital assets, ensuring brand consistency.
- **Community Outreach**:

- Plan and coordinate community outreach events, including health fairs, school programs, and other community-based initiatives.
- Foster partnerships with local schools, community organizations, and healthcare providers to enhance community engagement.
- Represent the organization at community events, ensuring a positive and professional image.
- **Crisis Communication**:

- Prepare and implement crisis communication plans in coordination with senior leadership.
- Provide timely and accurate information during crisis situations to maintain public trust and organizational integrity.
- **Internal Communication**:

- Work closely with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop internal newsletters, memos, and other communication tools to keep staff informed of PR and marketing initiatives.
- **Research & Analysis**:

- Conduct market research to identify PR and marketing opportunities.
- Analyze the effectiveness of PR campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement.
- **Reporting & Documentation**:

- Maintain accurate records of all PR and community outreach activities.
- Provide regular reports on PR and marketing efforts to senior management.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in public relations, marketing, or community outreach, preferably in the healthcare sector.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience with social media platforms and content creation.
- Familiarity with media monitoring tools and PR software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 20 per week

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
