Public Relations Manager

About the Role
The Public Relations Assistant Manager will be responsible for managing UNIQLO's reputation in Canada. This role will involve using various forms of media and communication to build, maintain, and manage the reputation of UNIQLO Canada.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement PR strategies to maintain a positive image of UNIQLO Canada
- Build and maintain relationships with local and national media outlets, influencers, and other stakeholders
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase brand awareness and reputation
- Collaborate with the Global PR team to adapt global campaigns for the Canadian market
- Manage local PR agencies and vendors
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and provide regular reports to senior management
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in public relations or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in public relations or a related field
- Proven track record of creating and executing successful PR campaigns
- Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with media outlets and influencers
- Experience with social media considered an asset
- Ability to read, write, and speak French considered a valuable asset
