As the Supply Chain Manager at Balzac’s, you will be responsible for executing and improving specific aspects of the supply chain, such as procurement, inventory management, logistics, and demand planning. This position will interact not only with Supply Chain but other departments in the company, e.g., Sales, Production, Quality control, and Finance. You will work closely with various departments to streamline processes, enhance supply chain performance, and co to the organization's overall success.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Order Fulfillment Shipping**:

- Lead the Order Fulfillment team in the shipment of orders to customers.
- Monitor and coordinate logístical tasks to arrange customer shipments. Work with logístical companies to schedule shipments, obtain supporting proof of delivery documentation, and track shipments.
- Support and evaluate the performance of logistics providers, monitor cost, and establish performance indicators supporting the margin improvement goals.
- Ensure that the logístical organization delivers shipments to support sales goals.
- Manage the relationship with customers, coordinate shipping schedules, creation of international shipping documents, and all logístical aspects related to orders.
- Work with 3PL Partners warehouses directed by management.
- Oversee order processing and fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate order deliveries.
- Manage shipping and transportation processes, including carrier selection, route planning, and tracking.
- Implement best practices for packaging, labeling, and documentation to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.

**Logistical and Inventory Responsibilities**:

- Manage importing/exporting logístical activities. Work with brokers and logistics forwarders to import and export products and raw materials as required.
- Lead logístical tasks to arrange raw material shipments to support product manufacturing, work with logístical companies to schedule shipments, obtain supporting proof of delivery documentation, and track shipments.
- Manage all required inventory transfers to different manufacturing locations with the planning team. Execute warehouse transfers to ensure products and raw materials are at the right locations to support sales and manufacturing operations.
- Work with raw material suppliers in logístical activities.
- Support and lead identification, setup, and management of finished product warehousing locations.

**Supply Chain Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Attend and lead physical counts of inventory at warehouse locations.
- Support fiscal closing activities as assigned.
- Support sample and demo shipping to partners and customers.
- Collaborate with suppliers to manage inventory levels, procurement, and delivery schedules.
- Support demand forecasting to align inventory levels with customer requirements.
- Continuously monitor and analyze inventory data to prevent overstock or stockouts.

**Process Improvement Responsibilities**:

- Execute and improve logístical processes and activities to maximize cost improvements that support companies’ objectives.
- Support selected software tools to improve logístical, transportation, and other Supply Chain processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with overall company objectives.
- Monitor and analyze logístical data to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

**Data Management**:

- Maintain and update inventory records and data in the inventory management system.
- Implement data quality control measures to ensure accuracy and consistency of inventory information.
- Generate and analyze reports to track inventory turnover, trends, and performance metrics.
- Maintain all aspects of our sales orders, item fulfillment, purchase orders, and item receipts. Ensuring efficient and accurate flow of products, materials, and information through our supply chain and sales operations.
- Provide inventory reports of all inventory items and final product to Senior Leadership team as required.

**Other Duties**:

- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, ideally in CPG or a related food business
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and supply chain software ideally NetSuite but all experience welcome

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCMP).
- Experience with international trade and customs regulations.
- Familiarity with lean or Six Sigma principles for process improvement.
