We are a growing team of passionate professionals from a variety of fields including behavior analysis, speech, occupational, psychomotor, physical, music and art therapy. We provide services to individuals 0-18 in our newly renovated facility equipped with innovative equipment such as sensory gymnasium, immersive room and snoezelen room.

We offer a supportive work environment with ongoing opportunities for collaboration and continued professional development. Our team prioritizes a client-centered, ethical approach to intervention which incorporates not only advances in the field, but also actively listens to clients to continuously updated services and provide the best support possible to the individual.

Full time position offered, and also part-time contract position with possibility of a future full-time workload.

**Start Date**:Immediate

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct initial & ongoing assessments
- Implement interventions using the following service delivery approaches: interdisciplinary, relationship based, ability based, reflective practices, and family focused
- Develop & monitor individualized intervention plans with data collections
- Write progress & exit reports as needed
- Completes report requested for school, disability allowance, grants, etc. as needed
- Collaborate and provide ideas and input for comprehensive programming and initiatives with school and developmental center staff as part of a cohesive team
- Support the preparation and development of programs and materials recommended for the classroom at school or the early intervention groups
- Provide ongoing supervision to the speech interventionist team implementing recommendations for which the SLP is responsible
- Provide consultation and education to the families/parents regarding the client's needs and goals
- Give professional trainings and provide suggestions for trainings to the school team and other professionals of the center on pedagogical days.

**Qualifications**
- Been member of the OOAQ (Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec)
- Strong knowledge on AAC and all the more recent approaches for children without a verbal communication skill
- Ability to coach speech internists and provide on going support
- Ability to assess in English
- Has experience with children with autistic spectrum disorder and/or global developmental delay
- Minimum one-years’ experience working with pediatric populations
- Ability to accept supervision and guidance
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Collaborative attitude and willingness to mentor new staff members
- Exhibit strong clinical judgement and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in multiple environments and adapt easily
- Recent Police Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening (6 months or newer)
- Bilingual (French/English) preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
