HYDMECH CANADA Corp is the North American leader in the design and manufacturing of metal cutting bandsaws HYDMECH, a subsidiary of MEP SpA based in Italy which is part of Group Legris Industries based in France. You will be part of a global organization with locations in the US, Europe, China and South America where advancement from within the organization is supported.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, we have an immediate need for a ECN Coordinator. The key aspect of this role is working directly with Engineering, the plant floor, and Procurement in processing and coordinating the Engineering Change Process. In addition, you will assist in the development, evaluation, and improvement of manufacturing methods and documentation of policies and procedures. Other responsibilities include utilizing your passion and knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrications processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards to suggest and implement improvements.

**Job responsibilities**:

- You will evaluate engineering change notices (ECNs) for feasibility and economic impact. Should the ECN result in a material and positive impact, you will be tasked with executing the timely completion of ECNs through documentation, validation/approval and basic input of materials and drawing information into the ERP System
- You will complete the creation and maintenance of the SAP system including Material Masters, BOMs and Routings based on both ECN requirements and shop floor process changes. This includes all necessary Plants and Storage locations.
- You will ensure compliance to drawings and applicable assembly/manufacturing design standards.
- You will Coordinate change cut-ins with the various departments and ensure proper communication of all changes and timings needed, and ensure ECN is updated with all relevant information for clear communication.
- Assists in transacting new, excess and obsolete inventory, as well as the overall inventory impact with appropriate personnel including engineering, materials and production personnel.
- You will support the shop floor in issues related to the ERP.
- You will create and maintain SAP Sales Configurator for changes in machine models and options.
- May assist in publishing reports of department performance.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Knowledge of manufacturing/assembly processes and tooling.
- Post-secondary Diploma in Manufacturing Engineering Technician/Technology is an asset.
- Prior manufacturing or assembly experience within an assembly environment is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; Well organized and the ability to work independently or within a team setting.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Proficiency in Solid Works is an asset.
- Understanding of ERP/MRP and SAP is required.
