Automotive Inside Sales

We are currently seeking an **energetic **and **self-motivated **individual to fill a part-time inside sales position, must be able to work **weekends and holidays**.
As an Inside Sales person, customer interaction is our primary task.
Responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction by providing technical information, pricing and responses to a cross-section of questions that are posed

The successful inside sales representative must have:
A _great _attitude
Enjoy working with people
Possess the ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong Communication Skills
Ability to Prioritize and Manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines
Basic computer skills
Have a desire to learn and advance knowledge and skills in the automotive field
Have an interest in the automotive field
Able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
**Must be available to work weekends Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays.**

Fortin's is a local, family owned business that has been part of the community since 1946. We supply automotive/industrial products, have a machine shop at our Airport Road location, and are a part of Home Hardware.
Fortin's currently has stores in Chilliwack, Vedder, Abbotsford, and Hope.
**We expect our Inside Sales team**:
- To Immediately focus on a customer entering the store, walking up, or a phone ringing
- Comfortable navigating counterpoint’s invoice screen
- Launching and using the electronic catalogue
- Using the customer search tool
- Use online ordering screens
- Use our server for the phone list,.pdfs of catalogues, and more
- Treat all customers and employees with respect and courtesy
- Safeguard and handle product like it is your own personal property
- Process special customer orders using Fortin’s procedure
- Process returns following Fortin’s Procedures
- Process warranties as per manufactures procedure:
**Other Tasks / Responsibilities listed but not limited to**:
- Daily Task list
- Cash procedures
- Closing task list
- Putting stock away
- Restocking shelves
- Updating price labels
- Cleanliness of counter and surrounding area
- Cleanliness of paint room and hydraulic making station
- Front facing
- Sanitizing / cleaning
- Other projects as they arise
