Scope:
Under the direct supervision of the North Lodge Program Manager and overall supervision of the Executive Director, the Trauma Program Facilitator is responsible to design, deliver and facilitate the adult and family healing program while contributing to the overall program design. They will also be expected to work within the parameters of the overall program design incorporating land and culture based approaches. The Trauma Program Facilitator will be responsible for developing experiential group approaches that will address issues of mental, emotional, spiritual and physical wellness. They will be responsible to ensure services and programs are responsive to the effects of adverse childhood experiences including the legacy of residential school abuse and its’ intergenerational traumatic impacts on adults and their families.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Facilitation
- Incorporate the natural surroundings and traditional practices offered at the Healing Lodge site and strive to utilize those features in the overall treatment approach.
- Facilitate in the coordination and delivery of related workshops, seminars, circles and activities as required by the adult and family treatment/healing program.
- Assist in design and delivery of programs in coordination with the Youth lodge, in regards to adults and families specifically.

2. Program Planning and Design
- Work with the team to ensure the overall program design and development, with a specific responsibility for group workshops and circles.
- Ensure that the psycho dramatic process is incorporated into the design and ensure the safe emotional environment is maintained throughout the program.

3. Program Team
- Be an active member of the program team providing appropriate experiential learning approaches within the delivery of the overall program.

4. Aftercare Planning
- Aftercare planning working with Enaahtig Case Managers, Intake Coordinator, and other staff to ensure smooth transitions.

5. Intake Preparation
- Assist Intake with follow-up of clients to fulfill programs.

Qualifications:

- A Bachelor’s degree or Master’s in Social Work or related field.
- 3 years related counselling experience working with Indigenous youth.
- Experience in facilitation of programs.
- Be a role model in the community.
- Have or willing to obtain CPR/First Aid, NVCI or other required trainings.
- Must be willing to obtain a clear Vulnerable Sector.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay: $62,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
