**Job Title: Reconciliation Analyst**
**Reports to: Controller**
**Date: January 17, 2023**
**Location: Head Office (remote)**

**Job Purpose**:
The Reconciliation Analyst is accountable to (1) performing operational tasks such as completing the Global Reconciliation (2) performing wire requests as assigned daily and (3) supporting the Finance Department to review, analyze and evaluate business systems and user needs. The incumbent is to follow the process and document requirements, define scope, recommend, and implement upon approval automation to achieve overall business strategies. The incumbent should be able to adapt to constant changes and improve on existing procedures.

**Responsibilities**:
∙Perform daily activities, including but not limited to updating the Global Reconciliation file with numerous bank balances and comparing this to customer balances. Verify high volume transactions of a complex nature. Identify and investigate unreconciled transactions and provide solutions. Send wire requests for specific bank accounts. Send manual EFTs for various customers. Send funds using our FX or Currency Transfer Provider. Create informative, actionable, and repeatable reporting highlighting relevant business trends and opportunities for business growth and improvement.∙Coordinate with other team members in the organization to create or improve workflows. Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

**Requirements**:

- ∙Bachelor's Degree in Commerce or equivalent work experience preferably banking.
- ∙Ability to multi-task, to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- ∙High degree of accuracy with great attention to detail.
- ∙Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
- ∙Excellent verbal & communication skills.
- ∙Strong Excel skills is a must have
- ∙Experience in a similar post is an asset.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
