Family Futures Resource Network is a non-profit organization whose mission is to build on the strengths of individuals and families through connection, support, and education to create a better future.

Family Futures is seeking a dynamic, and outgoing individual who will provide accurate, effective, and timely information to assist individuals and families in the navigation of the human services system which often will include supportive referrals. The incumbent will assist individuals and families by finding tools and community resources that will assist them to address their challenges, building on their strengths, and fostering independence. They will deliver specific groups for children and families and promote agency programs and services at community events. This position will stay current with the processes and requirements of other helping agencies.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Minimum of a Post-Secondary Diploma in a Human Services field
- Registration, licensing and/or certification as required by relevant Professional Bodies
- Minimum 3-5 years in direct client support
- Experience working with families from diverse backgrounds
- Previous ASQ/ASQ-SE certification is an asset
- The ability to speak Arabic, Punjabi, Hindi or Urdu would be an asset.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of community resource management and how to access other agency programs.
- Ability to advocate, problem solve and search out information to assist individuals in meeting their needs.
- Strong networking and relationship building skills to support internal and external collaboration
- Commitment to and ability to develop and facilitate strengths-based programming for families.
- Strong professional boundaries
- Ability to speak publicly and provide presentations to the public regarding agency services
- Knowledge of mental health is an asset.
- Excellent computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office.

**Other**:

- Valid Police Information Check and Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Check
- Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, which includes daytime, evening, and Saturday hours.

**Salary**: $24.19 per hour
