**Why this role is important**:
Reporting to Sr. Legal Counsel, the Law Clerk will play an integral role in increasing the capacity of the Igloo Legal department through timely support of all Igloo's business operations. The Law Clerk will also play a critical role supporting Igloo's revenue teams through administration of customer contract processes.

**The impact you'll have**:

- Provide legal documentation support in respect of net new and existing customers including preparation of non-standard sales contracts and administration of executed sales contract documentation
- Maintain contract/legal aspects of customer account records in Igloo's CRM platform
- Manage and track vendor contracts
- Manage Igloo's internal legal task requests
- Complete vendor/supplier due diligence forms/information requests
- Correspond with non-paying customers regarding AR collection
- Assist with corporate records and equity management
- Improve the efficiency of legal department through the identification and development of new and improved departmental process & documentation.
- Other duties as assigned

**What you'll need**:

- At least 3-5 years' experience in an in-house legal department
- Strong background in the management of commercial contracts, contract language and concepts
- Paralegal/Law Clerk licensing/certification is considered a strong asset
- Experience with CRM (e.g. Salesforce) and equity management (e.g. Carta) platforms is considered an asset
- Ability to work autonomously, with limited supervision
- Ability to listen and ask follow-up questions to determine business needs
- Ability to identify key legal issues
- Ability to solve problems through clear communication and collaboration
