**Job Description: Parts Technician**

XCMG Canada Ltd. is excited to welcome an energetic, self-motivated individual to join our growing and dynamic team as a **Parts Technician** in Hamilton, ON. This role offers the opportunity to support our dealers and distributors in sourcing parts, providing pricing, processing online and offline orders, and assisting with warehouse and inventory tasks.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Efficiently pick merchandise for delivery with accuracy and timeliness.
- Verify parts orders before shipment to ensure they are correct.
- Manage and update online inventory, adjusting locations as needed.
- Restock shelves and relocate parts as required.
- Support store operations under the guidance of the Parts Manager.
- Adhere to and promote safety guidelines, including handling hazardous materials.
- Perform counter sales for parts.
- Source and order parts from OEMs and track deliveries.
- Prepare and process purchase orders for received parts.
- Handle shipping and receiving responsibilities.
- Assist with the annual parts inventory and other preparation tasks.
- Occasionally assist as a parts-runner for local pickups and deliveries.
- Determine shipping methods and prepare bills, invoices, and shipping documents.
- Prepare containers, crates, and shipping instructions.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of goods from trucks.
- Inspect and verify incoming goods, documenting shortages and rejecting damaged items.
- Maintain accurate internal record-keeping.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and store goods.
- Take overall responsibility for warehouse and inventory management.

**Education & Experience Requirements**:

- _5 years of experience with heavy equipment parts._
- _Journeyman Parts Technician_ or second/third-year apprentice.
- Forklift Ticket.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.

**Skills & Competencies**:

- Mechanical and technical aptitude (an asset).
- Excellent interpersonal and management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with consistent, high-quality work.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to safe working habits.
- Knowledge of inventory, purchase order, and invoicing systems.
- Proficiency in computer systems.
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs regularly.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
