**Housing First-Supervisor**

This position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Nikihk/Eagles Nest Housing First projects. The Supervisor will support all positions on the team and share wisdom and knowledge with the team and community. This position is responsible for ensuring the outcomes of the project is being met through the recruitment, supervision, evaluation of team members and evaluation of the program.

The Supervisor is the connection between the Indigenous Housing Team and the Housing First service sector, through participation in Supervisory meetings, working groups and committees. The Supervisor will bring a voice on behalf of our Indigenous individuals and families to the leadership circle of Housing First service sector, sharing knowledge across all Housing First programs, thereby creating a ripple effect to benefit the Urban Indigenous people in other Housing First programs.

The Supervisor will supervise the 7-Follow up support workers, 1-Landlord Relations and the 1-Supported Referral Coordinator. This position is responsible for hiring and terminating employees, the manager is to be included in this process.

This position will report to the senior manager of this program.

**Duties**
- Supervise program staff to ensure they are providing effective services to clients in the program.
- Conduct program monitor to ensure program objective, ETO data entry, and client needs are being met.
- Complete all financial requirements in a timely manner such as Pa’s, receipt submissions, and all other financial reconciliations as required by accounting
- Provide monthly supervision to each staff in the program
- Attend Housing 1st team lead monthly meetings
- Ensure all required documentation is submitted on time i.e. RAP forms, 3rd party rental agreements, rent reconciliations, program reports, etc.
- Ensure all the staff are cross trained as per Redroad-Reaching Homes requirements
- Ensure all new hires complete the new team member orientation plan.
- Monitor ETO to ensure staff is entering information into the database in a timely manner.
- Review ETO reports monthly
- Conduct random client surveys to ensure the clients are receiving effective services.
- Provide guidance, direction, and support to staff in the program.
- Chair staff meetings as per the team schedule
- Ensure staff are maintaining client file contents
- Ensure staff are adhering to program rules and expectations
- Enforce program expectations and ensure all administrative duties are being completed by staff.
- Engage in community partnerships that support housing indigenous people with multiple barriers.
- Attend Agency monthly manager meeting
- Ensure a program representative attends agency committee meeting
- Ensure all staff are cross trained in all positions
- Delegate duties to staff in relation to their position
- When short staffed or hiring for a position, delegate caseload to staff temporarily until the position is filled.
- Conduct staff file audits yearly to ensure we are meeting agency audit requirements.
- Monitor the client graduation process to ensure we are meeting contractual obligations
- Other duties as requested by Senior manager.

**Reporting duties**
- Inform the manager of staffing issues, write ups, terminations, and verbal warnings.
- Provide a monthly report to the program manager with the following information:

- ETO summary - staff database entry issues
- Staffing issues, concerns, successes
- Client file review
- Meet with Senior Manager monthly to update on program progress, challenges, successes, etc.
- Submit time sheet to Senior manager for signing
- Any time off is to be approved by Senior Manager
- Any TIL is to be pre-approved by the senior manager, in emergency situations you are to notify the Senior Manager of the circumstances and time spent.
- Report all crisis incidents to the Senior Manager
