**Responsibilities**
- Provide comprehensive financial modeling, analytics, and general financial support to the organization.
- Lead the monthly financial forecasting and annual budgeting processes, including the development, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of forecasting models to ensure accurate financial plans.
- Prepare financial analyses and forecasts on company projects and support external reporting and communication related to those.
- Lead month-end variance analysis and operational reviews, providing insights on financial performance, key drivers, changes versus plan, and identify upcoming opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with leadership to review actual results, budget variances, and forecast.
- Improve financial knowledge across the business by effectively communicating financial concepts that can be easily understood by all stakeholders.
- Responsible for the development and improvement of tools and dashboards for business users to clearly understand their performance and opportunities.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and outliers to assist management with decision making
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency of processes and deliverables.
- Provide support for any ad-hoc analysis projects, modelling, and presentation materials as required.
**Qualifications**
- **Education**:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field**;**:
- **Professional Experience**: 3-5 years of progressive FP&A experience. Experience in the biotechnology industry would be an asset.
- **Technology Skills**: Expert proficiency and in Microsoft Excel, experience using NetSuite is an asset.
