**BIM Coordinator**
**Location**: Woodbridge
**Position Description**:

We are currently looking for a highly-skilled, caring, and safety-focused individual for our team. Reporting to the Project Manager/ Construction Manager, The BIM Coordinator will play a pivotal role in coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes across various construction projects. This role requires expertise in BIM software, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate and efficient utilization of BIM technology throughout the project lifecycle.
**Responsibility**:
**Responsibilities** **BIM Implementation**:
- Lead the implementation of BIM processes and workflows on construction projects. Collaborate with project teams to establish BIM standards, guidelines, and best practices.
**Model Coordination**:
- Coordinate multidisciplinary models and ensure clash detection and resolution to prevent conflicts during construction. Facilitate coordination meetings to address clashes and streamline design.
**Model Development**:
- Oversee the creation, modification, and maintenance of BIM models throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure accurate representation of architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical elements.
**Collaboration**:
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate effective communication and integration of BIM data across disciplines.
**Model Review**:
- Conduct regular reviews of BIM models to ensure compliance with project requirements, industry standards, and client expectations.
**Data Management**:
- Manage BIM data, including model version control, file organization, and data sharing. Ensure efficient data exchange among project stakeholders.
**Training and Support**:
- Provide training and support to project team members on BIM software and workflows. Address technical issues and provide solutions to enhance project efficiency.
**BIM Standards**:
- Ensure adherence to BIM standards and protocols, including file naming conventions, model naming conventions, and data exchange formats.
**Quality Control**:
- Implement quality control processes to ensure the accuracy and consistency of BIM models. Verify data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
**Emerging Technologies**:
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in BIM technology. Evaluate and recommend new tools and methodologies to improve BIM processes.
