**Job Title: Logistics Coordinator**

**Role Summary**:
The logistics coordinator is responsible for monitoring and coordinating import, export activities in a timely manner. The role is part of our operations team and work closely with our sales/account management to ensure shipments are picked up, transported and delivered successfully. He/she will work with our overseas agents and vendors, partners to arrange the most efficient options for our cargos.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and ensure shipments are picked up, transported and delivered successfully in a timely manner.
- Plan, organize and oversee daily operations.
- Work with vendors and partners for the most efficient services and rates.
- Handle bookings and submit documentations to carriers.
- Follow up with freight companies locally and overseas to track shipments and work with our agents to perform the best possible services.
- Liaise with Canadian and US Customs regularly to ensure compliance and complete customs reports as required.
- Comply with customs filing procedure (CERS, eManifest, etc.)
- Answer customers’ requests.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- 2-year College Diploma in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2+ years industry experience in Freight Forwarding, Transportation or Logistics (import/export).
- 2+ years Customer Service and Sales experience with a focus on Air/Seafreight Sales.
- Detailed oriented and excellent organizational, time management skills including the ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Bilingual is a plus.
- Strong customer services skills.
- Proven to work well independently and with a team.
- Quick learner and the ability to meet tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent analytical skills would be an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
