Stony Plain, Canada Residential Aide Placement Service (RAPS) Full time

_**RAPS is Seeking a Part-Time Caregiver to Assist a Quadriplegic Individual (E2)**_
- **Location**_: Stony Plain_
- **Days: Saturday 9am-2pm
- Additional hours may be available. **_
- **Rate of Pay $21.00/ hour **_
- _Provide evening care _
- Duties include but are not limited to: _
- _Transfers using a ceiling lift or Hoyer lift, _
- _Personal care assistance including: bathing, dressing, brushing hair/teeth, feeding assistance, etc. _
- _Medication administration _
- _Catheter care_
- _Bowel routine assistance including: suppositories, digital stimulation, etc._
- _Providing transportation in an accessible minivan to and from errands/appointments _
- _Home care including: light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation_
- _Range of motion and physio therapy exercises_
- _Encouragement, support, and companionship_
- **Qualifications and Other Requirements**_: Applicants must have a recent criminal record check (including a vulnerable sector check), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to drive an accessible minivan. Experience and/or education in the health care field is not required, but will be considered an asset. Applicants must be physically fit and able to push, pull or lift 50 lbs. _

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
