Accounting Administrator

Working with the finance team and reporting to the Controller and AR/AP Lead, this position is responsible for assisting accounts payables & accounts receivables, the administration of balance sheet account reconciliations and the month end closing processes. This position will be a key contributor on the team, and have visibility throughout the day to day operations of a finance function of the brewery.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist the Brewery Controller with month end accounting close process within company deadlines and provide support preparing the annual audit.
- Assist with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process.
- Preparation of balance sheet account reconciliation and variance analysis, as well as preparation of daily journal entries and processing of monthly expenses.
- Work with the business leaders of the brewery along with customers and vendors to reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies and update books and records accordingly.
- Reconciliations and posting of customer fees and other charges (LCBO, TBS, export).
- Resolve discrepancies and note corrections with the assistance and guidance of the AR/AP Lead.
- Assist with special projects, administrative filing, sales and data reports, as well ad hoc requests as required.
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential and following our confidentiality policies.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Graduating or recent graduate from a college or university degree specializing in Accounting or Business Administration,
- Experience working in an office environment, direct finance department experience an asset.
- Diligent and efficient with data entry and you can work effectively under deadlines organizing multiple projects.
- Familiarity with MS Office suite of programs, specifically Excel. Experience with MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is an asset.
- Excellent communicator, who remains poised and professional in challenging conversations.
- Energized through team collaboration and supportive of the team in getting the job done.

- This is a hybrid role that will require the employee to work at the brewery 2-3 days per week, the remainder can be from the home/virtual environment upon completion of training.
