Operational intelligence (OI) is an approach to data analysis that enables decisions and actions in business operations to be based on data.

This role is remote.

Desired skills for this role include:

- Ability to create direction in an ambiguous environment
- Passionate about solving organizational and/or key management issues.
- Google Scripts skills to help drive automation across team tools and resources.
- Experience creating dashboards (Tableau, etc.)

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop data based insights and reporting to provide visibility and timely information to business leaders.
- Use data to influence stakeholders to define and adopt appropriate processes and goals to achieve business unit objectives.
- Partner with external stakeholders to refine hiring processes and financial planning.
- Serve as a business partner between the local organizations leaders and the Business Operations team.
- Perform data analysis, research and modeling.
- Build dashboards and reporting to provide insights on strategic areas.
- Drive automation throughout the team’s processes, reporting, operational responsibilities and the businesses’ strategic alignment
- Develop processes to better serve organizational partners.

**Who You Are**:
**Requirements**:

- Independently motivated and intellectually curious
- Ability to drive prioritization amongst stakeholders
- Experience identifying needs and building out solutions from scratch
- Track record of delivering actionable insights and improving existing processes efficiency
- History of building financial and/or reporting models leveraging multiple data sources.
- Expert Google Sheets or Excel skills (does not mean needs to have vba/google scripts necessarily)
- Working knowledge of SQL (or IQL)
- 5-7 years of work experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, FP&A, Consulting or Business Operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Sciences, or a related field.
- Ability to remain flexible in a consistently evolving environment
- Strong cross functional collaboration skills and experience in communicating with senior leaders
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication.
- Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail.

**Salary Range Disclaimer**:
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.

**Salary Range Transparency**:
Toronto 121,000 - 175,000 CAD per year
