**SUMMARY**: The position of** **Injection Mold Qualification Manager will be responsible for driving the qualification processes within the Test Room to ensure customer requirements are met on a timely basis.**

**MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Directly manage the staff and day to day activities within the Test Room, including the afternoon shift. Always enforce and ensure safety. Set priorities and ensure that all procedures are being followed.
- Ensures On-time Delivery of products and services by working to the schedule and adheres to planned hours.
- Participates in customer visits when necessary.
- Always support the sales team and our customers. Provide technical / trouble shooting support, Provide ideas and help come up with corrective actions when required.
- Manage and coordinate all service requests.
- Supports CI initiatives and always looks at ways to improve productivity and efficiencies.
- Back-up to the Repair Supervisor.
- Work closely with the repair team and provide guidance and support. Help trouble shoot and determine corrective scope.
- Manage the plastic part inspection team/department. Set priorities for the team and ensure the equipment maintenance/certification is up to date.
- Ensure all the equipment within the Test Room and the Quality department is maintained on a regular basis. Schedule and work directly with third party suppliers when service is required.
- Confer with other managers to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
- Ensuring all work practices are conducted in a safe manner as per The Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Conducts Performance Evaluations in a professional manner on schedule.

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:
**TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE**
- Post-Secondary education - Engineering/Business disciplines or proven relevant experience.
- Proven knowledge of Injection Molding business ideally with ten years plus experience.
- Experience working with ERP Systems an asset.
- 5 Years experience managing people.
