**Operations Manager, Building Services Division**

**Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Director of Operations and working in an exciting and collaborative environment, you will:

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Building Services division, including managing and mentoring Building Services employees
- Communicate with internal contacts as well as clients, union representatives, vendors, etc.
- Assign project work and manage workload capacity of Building Services team
- Ensure projects are proceeding on schedule, anticipate and mitigate risks
- Ensure accurate expenditures by reviewing financial reports and accurately forecasting against budgets.
- Manage the department’s income statement, billings and receivables, customer service feedback, monthly reports and corporate safety policy and objectives.
- Ensure projects are managed effectively to meet and exceed client quality expectations.
- Maintain all documentation and reporting on project status, costs, etc.
- Continuously audit safety conditions and ensure standards are met while continuously supporting a positive safety culture.
- Identify business opportunities and potential clients, maintaining a focus on profitability.

**Who are we looking for?**

**Education and Experience**:

- Post-secondary technical diploma, degree or relevant technical/industrial work experience
- Five or more years relevant experience in a service role of progressively increasing levels of supervisory responsibility and autonomy
- Experience working with unionized trades would be considered an asset.
- Experience in the construction industry in a management role.
- Experience using Jonas software would be considered an asset.
