**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Case manager will review cases (inpatient and outpatient), assist customers, will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, and will ensure the overall management of a medical claim in accordance with the terms and conditions of insurance contracts.
- We are looking for bilingual French/Spanish Case Managers.
- Manage medical cases
- Conduct daily monitoring of hospitalized patients and/or outpatient care, updating notes and keeping records of decisions in computer system
- Identify and assess customers' needs to assist with best outcomes
- Interpret policies to provide insurance benefits abd eligibility to insured and health providers
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
- Follow procedures, guidelines and policies
- Comply with insurance regulatory bodies
- Recommend solutions in regard to patient medical repatriation including commercial transfers and air-ambulance transfers
- Align with company values, vision and mission

**Job Requirements**
- High school diploma or equivalent (Minimal); Post-secondary education preferred
- Familiarity with Medical terminology
- Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
- Excellent typing/computer, communication and presentation skills
- You are a Team Player
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively; adapt in a busy environment with fluctuating workloads
- Ability to work day, evening and weekends.
- Excellent bilingual communication (both written and verbal in French and English or Spanish and English)

**Education and Experience**
- Case Management: 1 year (preferred)
- Emergency assistance experience (2 years)
- Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
- Experience in management of out-patient and in-patient travel medical insurance cases.
- Experience in the healthcare system of the United States & Canada
